Chief Executive Officer
Jackie joined Learning Link Scotland in April 2014. Jackie leads on policy, advocacy and the promotion of Learning Link Scotland with representation on national committees. Not only is she responsible for the organisation’s core activities, she has also been successful in securing and overseeing successful projects and services.
She has many years of experience working in adult education in Scotland and is a member of the CLD Standards Council. She has worked at the University of Glasgow on the Postgraduate Teaching Adult Programme and at Education Scotland as a development worker focussing on literacy, numeracy and ESOL.
She ran her own educational consultancy for ten years and worked on a wide range of projects including national initiatives, for example, she worked on the development of the Tutoring Numeracy in Adult Literacies Unit for Education Scotland and the SQA, and the Adult Literacies Professional Development Framework and the Embedding the Curriculum Framework Wheel projects for Scottish Government.

Fair Work First
Learning Link Scotland are currently updating our policies to evidence the provision of appropriate channels for effective workers’ voice in line with the Scottish Government Fair Work First guidance.
